Some people express their creativity through one medium. Stephanie Falcone brings hers to life through music, painting, movement and the way she embraces the Maui lifestyle.

Stephanie is not only a talented singer, songwriter and artist—she is also a dear friend, a Pilates instructor in Kāʻanapali, an avid surfer and someone deeply committed to health, balance and the island she calls home.

Finding Inspiration on Maui

Since arriving on the island in 2015, Stephanie has drawn inspiration from the ocean, the people of Maui and the everyday experiences that make island life so meaningful.

That influence can be heard in original songs such as “A Pirate’s Life” and “Local Boys.” In 2019, she released her first full-length album, Revival, followed by the 2022 concept album Relationship Weather, which highlights her evolving musical style and thoughtful storytelling.

Her musical influences span several generations and genres, including John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Norah Jones, Michelle Branch, Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, Carole King and Billy Joel.

Turning Music into Visual Art

Stephanie’s creativity extends well beyond music. In early 2015, she began creating artwork to sell as merchandise during her live performances. She developed a tradition of painting each city where she performed, transforming her travels and experiences into meaningful visual keepsakes.

Her collection has since expanded to include destination-inspired pieces, fashion paintings and artwork celebrating the places and moments that resonate most deeply with her.

One particularly meaningful piece is “Lahaina Remembered,” a watercolor print honoring the beauty, history and enduring spirit of Lahaina. For those who love this special town, the artwork offers a heartfelt way to keep its memory close.

A Life Centered on Movement and Balance

When Stephanie is not writing music or painting, she can often be found in the water—swimming, surfing and enjoying the coastline throughout West Maui.

Her lifelong connection to movement also led her to Pilates. In 2011, she completed a comprehensive 500-hour Pilates certification through Balanced Body and became a PMA®-Certified Pilates Teacher.

Today, Stephanie teaches Pilates in Kāʻanapali, helping others strengthen their bodies, improve mobility and create greater balance in their lives. Her approach reflects the same qualities found throughout her music and artwork: authenticity, discipline, creativity and heart.

Celebrating a Multifaceted Maui Artist

Stephanie Falcone represents so much of what makes Maui’s creative community special. She is an artist whose work is shaped by the ocean, a musician who turns life experiences into songs and an instructor who encourages others to live with strength and intention.
